Erosion and Accretion Settlement

Our settlement is based on the idea that the original landform basin was created by a process of glacial erosion and accretion. We imagined that our settlement would follow a series of patterns or rules for inhabiting this basin, based on the idea that the settlers would like to maximize their views of the natural landscape. Through this process of habitation or accretion in the basin, the settlers quarried materials from a smaller basin and carved out an amphitheater adjacent to their housing settlement.
